Nearly 40 teams are already entered for the 48th Rally Islas Canarias


Next Tuesday, April 16, at 8:00 p.m., the deadline to register for this second round of the FIA ​​European Rally Championship will end, as well as the third round of the Spanish Superchampionship. During these last few days, the bulk of the FIA ​​ERC teams have intensified contacts with the organization.

 

With just three weeks left until the 48th Rally Islas Canarias is held, the FIA ​​European Rally Championship is raising its voice. Not in vain, the continental competition starts this weekend in Hungary, the event prior to the Gran Canaria round.

Around 40 teams are already entered for this second event of the FIA ​​European Rally Championship (FIA ERC), as well as the third of the Spanish Superchampionship (S-CER). It should be remembered that the registration period for the 48 Rally Islas Canarias will end next Tuesday, April 16 at 8:00 p.m.

In addition to the confirmed presence of the winners of the last edition, the French Yoann Bonato-Benjamin Boulloud (Citroën C3 Rally2), the formations of Martin Laszlo-Viktor Ban (Skoda Fabia RS Rally2) and Albert von Thurn und Taxis-Frank Christian (Skoda Fabia RS Rally2) will be on May as in the past.

The international label increases its attractions with the Rally4 of Mattia Zanin-Elia de Gio (Peugeot 208) or the already announced Cristiana Oprea-Alexia Parteni (Opel Corsa) and Ekaterina Stratieva-Georgi Avramov (Peugeot 208).

A good group of international teams, practically the bulk of those that will fully follow the FIA ​​European Rally Championship, have intensified their contacts with the organization of the Rally Islas Canarias, as well as consultations to process maritime travel with Fred. Olsen Express & Baleària, so your entries will be confirmed in the coming days.
