Award ceremony of the photo contest |

 Today Wednesday 9th of May was the awards ceremony of the photo contest of the 36th edition of Rally Islas Canarias "El Corte Inglés" where the winners, Roman Aguiar (1st place), Jonay Godoy (2nd place) and Rayco Suarez (3rd position), were able to collect his award from Michael A. Suarez, a member of the Organizing Committee of the Rally.
Again, our congratulations to all winners and participants for the photographs presented, and we see him next year to enjoy this great sporting event with camera in hand.

Ya tenemos ganadores.
The jury, composed of members of the organization of the Rally Islas Canarias El Corte Inglés, has decided to award the first prize photographic Aguiar Roman Suarez. The second and third prize corresponded to Jonay Gogoy Guillen and Suarez Falcon Rayco respectively.

The Cabildo of Gran Canaria commitment to Rally Islas Canarias “El Corte Inglés” |
Today it has signed an agreement for three years with an amount of 190,000 euros per year.
Today has been signed between the Competition Sport Canary, Canary Islands Rally promoter "El Corte Inglés" and the Cabildo of Gran Canaria, with a partnership of 190,000 € for each of the next three editions of the test.
It is certainly one of the most important news to the conclusion of the 36th Rally Islas Canarias 'El Corte Ingles'. This sporting event, which has completed its third season in the Intercontinental Rally Challenge, has strengthened the foundation for a championship vital in promoting the Canary Islands and Gran Canaria in particular. D. José Miguel Bravo de Laguna, president of the Cabildo of Gran Canaria, D. Carlos Gracia, president of the Royal Spanish Automobile Federation, and D. Luis Monzon, Director and Head of Sport Competition Canary, sealed the deal at noon today. |
